Accessibility statement

This statement applies to nohassleaccounts.co.uk, run by No Hassle Accounts Ltd. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, and we aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How accessible this website is

We have not yet carried out a full WCAG audit. On 3 November 2026 our web agency carried out a limited set of checks, fixed the problems they found and checked the pages again the same day. These are the results after those fixes.

Working well

  • The page language is set to English (UK), so screen readers can use the correct pronunciation.
  • Each page has a “Skip to content” link. It appears when you first press the Tab key and takes you straight to the main content.
  • The main content of each page is marked up as the main area (a “main” landmark).
  • Links and buttons show a clear outline when you move to them with the keyboard.
  • Buttons and links have names that screen readers can announce, including the menu buttons, the cookie settings button and the “Read more” links.
  • On the pages we checked, text has enough colour contrast against its background.
  • Images have text alternatives or are marked as decorative.
  • Links in the footer have more space around them, so they are easier to tap.
  • The contact form fields have visible labels. If a field is missed or filled in wrongly, the error is shown on screen and announced to screen reader users.
  • On a small phone screen (390 pixels wide), the pages we checked display without sideways scrolling.
  • An automated check found no WCAG level A or AA problems on the pages we checked: the home page, the services page, the bookkeeping, VAT returns and CIS service pages, the contact page, the case studies page, the blog, a blog article and the privacy notice.

Known problems

  • The cookie settings button stays in the bottom left corner of the screen as you scroll, so on small screens it can cover a small part of the page.

Not yet tested

  • Using the whole website with a keyboard only. We have checked the skip link and moving through the home page.
  • Using the whole website with a screen reader.
  • Using the website with text enlarged to 200% or with changed text spacing.

Automated checks only find some kinds of problem, so there may be issues we do not yet know about. These results are from 3 November 2026.

What we are doing

We plan to carry out a fuller check against WCAG 2.2 AA, including keyboard and screen reader testing, and to fix anything it finds. We aim to complete this by 31 March 2027.
